The South Local Area Committee (LAC) is a small team that works closely with residents, local services, and councillors to improve the community you live in.
The Local Area Committee consists of 12 elected members from the 4 electoral wards in South Sheffield. This includes a Chair and a Deputy Chair who are elected by the Local Area Committee. Our Chair for the South is Councillor Simon Clement-Jones, and our Deputy Chair is Councillor Richard Shaw for the 2025 to 2026 year.
