Central LAC: how to get involved

The Central LAC events and meetings give you a chance to influence decision making, share your opinion and contribute to positive changes in your community.

Here’s how you can get involved:

Public meetings

You can come along to our public meetings to hear about what is happening in the Central wards.

The next public meetings will take place on the 25 June 2025. The locations of these are yet to be confirmed.

Volunteering

You can volunteer for your local area.

'Friends of' groups

'Friends of' groups support green spaces and parks in the area.

Litter picking groups

Litter picking groups keep your area clean. You can find your nearest litter picking group or access information on how to organise your own community litter pick through Facebook or the Sheffield City Council website.

Community gardens

If you like gardening, you can join our group of volunteers in maintaining our community gardens.
