South West LAC: who we are
The South West Local Area Committee (LAC) is a small team that works closely with residents, local services, and councillors to improve the community you live in.
The Local Area Committee consists of 12 elected members from the 4 electoral wards in South West Sheffield. This includes a Chair and a Deputy Chair who are elected by the Local Area Committee. Our Chair for the South West is Councillor Andrew Sangar, and our Deputy Chair is Councillor Rebecca Atkinson for the 2025 to 2026 year.
